Obituary for Michael Joseph Kelly
Michael Joseph Kelly, age 31, passed away on Friday January 11, 2018 at Mount Sinai Hospital, NY. Born in Belleville, Michael lived in Kearny for many years before moving to Point Pleasant in 2005.
Michael was currently in the Academy for the Port Authority Police. He was previously a corrections officer for Ocean County. The last 12 summers as everyone’s favorite bartender at Martell’s Tiki bar.
He was an avid New York Yankees and New York Jets fan. He also loved smoking cigars and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving mother, Kelly Kelly, his father, Michael Kelly, his sister, Gabrielle “Gabby” Kelly; his maternal grandfather, Joseph Treanor and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, January, 15, 2019 from 4-9 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, January 16th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s RC Church, Point Pleasant. Cremation is private.
