Obituary for MaryAnn Hernandez (Myers )
MaryAnn Hernandez, age 64, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at her home in Neptune Township. Born in Newark, MaryAnn grew up and raised her family in Glen Ridge before moving to Point Pleasant then Neptune where she has resided for the last 6 years.
Mrs. Hernandez worked as a Clinical Data Coordinator for Clin Pro in Bound Brook before her retirement.
MaryAnn loved the beach, reading and cooking, especially meatballs, which were her specialty. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had a wonderful laugh that would make anyone smile.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Victor; her four loving daughters, Jessica Zaninelli and her husband, Todd, Allison Dunn and her husband, Michael, Sandra Engelhardt and her husband, Daniel and Heather Hernandez; her mother Martha Myers, her sister, Kathy McCarthy; her brother Greg Myers, and her grandchildren, Peter, Tommy, Mary, Olivia, Sarah, Avery and Conal; and her dogs, Flynn and Hunter. She is predeceased by her father Thomas Myers, and sister Janie Mikulka.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday. December 7th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Martha’s RC Church, Point Pleasant followed by the interment at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
