Obituary for Stephen Joseph Vargo
Stephen Joseph Vargo, age 43, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018. Born in Perth Amboy, Stephen was raised in Sayreville and had lived in Point Pleasant for the last 30 years, most recently residing in Brick.
Stephen worked at Wal-Mart, Brick for over 20 years and has been employed by the Hawkswood School, Eatontown as a paraprofessional.
Stephen loved wrestling, softball and baseball. He was an avid New York Yankees and Atlanta Falcons fan as well as a Hulk Hogan fan.
He is survived by his wife, Glynnis; his parents, Stephen and Dorothy Vargo; his brother, Carmen Vargo; his nephew, Nicholas Stephen and his goddaughter, Selena Rose as well as his beloved dog, Irys Mae.
Viewing will be held on Monday, December 3, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 4th at 10:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home followed by the interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle.
