Obituary for Sarge Yasuk
Sarge Yasuk, 81, of Wall, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018.
Mr. Yasuk was born in Brooklyn and raised in Lakewood. He resided in Brick for many years where he and his wife raised their family. He then moved to Southern Shores, North Carolina where he and Mrs. Yasuk spent 20 years before returning to the Shore 2 years ago. After graduating from Monmouth College, he went on to a successful career in the building materials sales industry before retiring. He enjoyed boating, hunting and fishing.
Mr. Yasuk is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Eileen (Cassidy). Also surviving are his children and their spouses, Peter and Lisa Yasuk of Lincroft, Kathleen and Robert Peluso, of Manchester, and Elizabeth Yasuk of Wilmington, North Carolina. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Evan and Brendan Yasuk, and Alex and Abigail Peluso, as well as his brothers and sisters-in-law, John Jr. and Joanne Yasuk, of Miami, and Robert and Anne Yasuk, of Indiana.
Visitation will take place at O’Brien Funeral Home 2028 Highway 35, Wall, on Sunday, December 16, 2018, from 1-4PM, with a service to be held at 1:30PM. Cremation will take place privately. In lieu of flowers donations in Mr. Yasuk’s memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, via www.alz.org. Condolences may be sent via www.obrienfuneralhome.com.
