Obituary for Yolanda Joan Loprete
Yolanda Joan Loprete, 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Leisure Park Assisted Living in Lakewood.
Yolanda was born and raised in Jersey City and enjoyed homes in Palm Coast, Florida and Brick, New Jersey. Yolanda loved playing piano, cards and liked to bowl. She was an avid golfer and scored a hole in one in her fifties. She was a member of the Nifty Niners golf team.
Yolanda was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Rose Mastellone, brothers, Peter and Raymond Mastellone and sisters, Marie Ferrigno and Margaret Hanson. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Peter J. Loprete; children, Robert Loprete and his fiancé Deborah Davis of Iowa, Leslie Farr of Brick, Donna Emeric of Spring Lake Heights, grandchildren, Robbie Farr, Jr., Dr. Michael Farr, Jeffrey Farr, Alexandra Emeric, Nicolas Emeric, and a great-grandchild, Steven Martinez. She was especially grateful for her loving niece Lynn Gerardo, her best friend Lottie Murray, and her son-in-law Bob Farr.
A memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 3-7PM at O’Brien Funeral Home, Brick. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Dominic’s at 10AM on Friday, November 30, 2018.
