Obituary for Muriel Morton (Cyphers )
Muriel Morton, age 92, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born and raised in Newark, Muriel has resided in Point Pleasant since 1952.
Mrs. Morton was a communicant of St. Peter’s RC Church in Point Pleasant for many years.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, James Morton in 1995 and her son James Morton.
Surviving are her loving children; John and Robert Morton and Valerie Edwards and her husband, William; her nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s RC Church, Point Pleasant followed by the interment at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Point Paws, 733 Albert Clifton Ave, Point Pleasant, NJ 08742, 732-295-8279.
