Mrs. Regina (Jean, Jeannie) Urbanski Michel, 90, peacefully passed away on Saturday, November 03, 2018. She was born in Nanticoke, PA, and moved to Newark, NJ, where she met her future husband, Roland Michel, at the Morris & Essex Roller Rink - Springfield, NJ. They married in 1949, and lived in Newark before moving to Spring Lake, NJ.
She was active in the Business & Professional Women's Club, and the Civic Clubs Council, of Newark. She was also a pioneer in women's business contributions, holding highly-responsible managerial positions. She enjoyed helping others, planning holiday events, travel, and knitting.
Regina was predeceased by her husband of 67 years. Regina and Roland had no children.
A prayer service will be held at the O'Brien Funeral Home, Wall, at 11:00am on Saturday, November 10, 2018, followed by entombment at St. Catharine Cemetery, Sea Girt. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Spring Lake First Aid Squad.
