Obituary for Albert Edward Venezia
Albert Edward Venezia, age 86, of Howell, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born in Newark to the late John and Margaret Venezia, Albert was a graduate of Westside High School in Newark. After starting his family, they moved to Howell in 1962. Mr. Venezia worked for many years as a Zone Warehouse Foreman for Goodyear Tire and Rubber in North Brunswick, retiring in 1996.
Mr. Venezia proudly served in the United States Navy.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife Lillian in 2013 and his brother in law Thomas Russo.
Surviving are his loving children, Albert M. Venezia of Howell, Deborah DeLisi and her husband John Joseph of Jackson and Donna Jenzer and her husband Jeffrey of Jackson; his brother in law Ralph Russo and his wife Christine; his sister in law’s Loretta Meehan and her husband Jack and Kathy Russo; his six cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Danielle, John, Noah, Anthony, Nicholas and his wife Jennifer; and his two great-grandchildren, Madeline and Nathan.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, October 27th at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family R.C. Church, Lakewood followed by the interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Disabled Veterans National Foundation
