Obituary for Bernadette Barry
Bernadette Barry, 82, of Spring Lake, formerly of Jersey City, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018.
Bernadette was born in Jersey City and lived there before settling in Spring Lake in 1993. Bernadette attended Seton Hall University and was a graduate of Marymount College in New York City where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree. She was a proud member of The Women of Irish Heritage.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Laurelene and Peter Weiler, her favorite (and only) niece Pamela Wilson, and great-nieces and nephew Hailey, Jack and Torie. She is also survived by her favorite (and only) nephew, Peter Weiler and his wife Claudine Weiler, and great-niece and nephew, Kate and Charlie. She was predeceased by her parents, Helen and Lawrence Barry, and great-nephew, William Weiler.
Bernadette’s family plans to hold a memorial service in the near future. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to The Women of Irish Heritage P.O. Box 302 Manasquan, NJ 08736. Condolences may be sent via www.obrienfuneralhome.com.
