Laura Rose Jordan, 71, of Spring Lake Heights passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Care One of Wall. Mrs. Jordan retired in 1994 as a Systems Software Specialist at IBM in NYC, NY after 30 plus years of service. Mrs. Jordan was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed playing golf, photography and tennis but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Born and raised in the Bronx, she resided in Spring Lake Heights for the last 20 years.
Mrs. Jordan was predeceased by her parents, Gustave and Margaret Hausburg; and brother, Charles Hausburg. Surviving are her son, Michael C. Jordan and his wife, Tracy of Colts Neck; brothers, Phillip Hausburg of Oklahoma City, OK and William Hausburg of Livermore, CA; sisters, Marguerite Hausburg of Port St. Lucie, FL, Elizabeth Jones of Parlin and Judith Franchetti of Spring Lake; and 3 grandchildren, Michael Kenneth, Lauren Anne and Christopher John. She also leaves her former husband, Michael B. Jordan.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:30am on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at St. Catharine’s RC Church, 215 Essex Ave, Spring Lake. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to the Parkinson Foundation at parkinson.org
