Obituary for Paul Lomakin

Paul Lomakin, age 91, died at his home in Mantoloking, NJ, September 13, 2018 surrounded by his family. Paul was born in Irvington, NJ to Mary and Paul Lomakin.

He served in the United States Navy during World War II and was able to travel around the World three times.

With only humble beginnings, he formed a successful development company that enabled him to provide for his kids and send many of his 25 grandchildren through college. He also served on the Union Center National Bank Board of Directors for over 30 years. He was able to retire at the age of 60 and pursue a hobby he loved, fishing.

He was a wonderful husband to his wife of 61 years, June and a great father to his seven children. Although he had many obstacles to overcome he lived a very fulfilling and interesting life. He will be greatly missed.

Surviving are his beloved wife, June; his children, Paul Douglas and Daniel Lomakin, Leslie Malkmus, Gwen Elmer, Lori Miller, Beth Kuhns and Wendy Pratt; 25 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
