Edward Brendan McGee, 83 of Brick, passed away on September 7, 2018. Born in Port Chester, NY, Ed went on to faithfully serve his country in the US Navy. Ed was involved in Knights of Columbus at St. Michael’s Parish in Cranford. Prior to retiring to Brick, Ed was employed as an Accountant for ITT in Nutley, NJ. Ed is survived by his loving wife Georgina; sons- Edward Jr. and wife Shruti of Bloomfield, and Matthew & wife Sharon of Linden; daughters- Maureen Alvarado & husband John of Linden, Eileen McGee Montaperto & husband Chris of Aberdeen, and Kathleen Hicks & husband Michael of Lincroft; and his 12 grandchildren- Ryan, Brigid, Matthew, Janisa, Allison, Caitlin, Andrew, Brianna, Thomas, Patrick, Brendan and Georgina.
Viewing will be at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick, on Sunday from 3-7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Church of the Epiphany, 615 Thiel Rd, Brick, on Monday at 10am, with burial to follow at St. Anne Cemetery, Wall.
