Obituary for Dolores P. Chrzanowski (Boyan)

Dolores P. Chrzanowski, (nee Boyan), 84, of Monroe, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018.
Mrs. Chrzanowski was born in Teaneck to the late James and Anna (Griffen) Boyan. She grew up in Norwood, and lived in Dumont for many years, where she raised her family. She also lived in Spring Lake Heights, and in more recent years, Waldwick, before moving to Monroe Village in 2016. Mrs. Chrzanowski was a dedicated employee at Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., in their Englewood and Brick offices, for many years, before retiring. Above all else she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Mrs. Chrzanowski was predeceased by her beloved husband William in 1994. She was also predeceased by all 11 of her siblings, Kay Kenny, Anne Gatens, Terry Johnston, Tish Kell, and Ruth, William, Edward, George, Joseph, James and Thomas Boyan.
Mrs. Chrzanowski is survived by her children and their spouses, Chrystena and Stephen Hahn, Waldwick, Patricia and Pat Ferrara, Waldwick, Ree and Bobby Guarinello, Ft. Lee, Vicki and Marty Moran, East Windsor, and Jeff and Bridget Chrzanowski, Manahawkin. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Katie and Stefanie Guarinello, Christie and her husband James Quay, Michael and Anne Ferrara, Meg Hahn, Marty V and Bill Moran, and Amanda, Jennifer and Emily Chrzanowski. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Violet and Pearl Quay, numerous nieces and nephews, and her sisters-in-law, Jackie and Inez Boyan.
Visitation will be at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35, Wall, on Thursday, July 12, 2018, from 4-8 P.M. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret’s Church, Spring Lake, on Friday, July 13, 2018, at 10:30 A.M., followed by burial at St. Anne’s Cemetery, Wall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, at www.stjude.org. Condolences may be sent via www.obrienfuneralhome.com.
