Obituary for Fay Zaccone (Maione)
Fay Zaccone, 95, of Lakewood passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 4th 2018.
Born in Newark, NJ Fay had resided in Jersey City for most of her life before moving to Lakewood where the spent the last 5 years of her life.
Fay was loved by all and anyone who knew her referred to her as “Grandma”. Fay was often considered the brightest light in one’s life. Among her many hobbies, playing the lottery, cards and cooking were her greatest joys.
Fay was predeceased by her beloved husband Salvatore Zaccone, her twin sister, Helen Fusco, her son-in-law George Mooney along with her many other cherished brothers and sisters, and great-grandchild Steven Pasquale.
Surviving are her daughter, Camille Mooney, son Anthony Zaccone, grandchildren Donna and her husband William Davis, Mark Mooney and his wife Dianne, and great-grandchildren Caisse Marie Davis, Peter Pasquale, Jaclynn Pasquale and Samantha Ryan.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8 PM at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick, NJ. A prayer service will be held 7:30pm in the funeral home. Final interment will be private
