Mary Morrow, 85, of Brick passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Morrow was a children’s librarian in her hometown of West New York for many years before retiring.
Born and raised in West New York, she has resided in Brick for the past 25 years.
Mrs. Morrow was predeceased by her husband, John D. Morrow in 2005; and by her brother, George Scalone; and sister, Jennie Nunziato. Surviving are her sons, Richard Morrow of Brick, Glenn Morrow and his wife, Susan of Toms River and John Morrow and his wife, Kathy of Rochelle Park, NY; daughter, Lauren Morrow Kessler and her husband, Ronald of Bayville; grandchildren, Erik, John IV, Shawn, Ross and Carter; and a great grandson, Weston.
Visiting will be on Thursday from 4-8pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A prayer service will be conducted on Friday 10am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Donations may be made in her name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Foundation.
