Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Smith can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: James E. Smith
Condolence: Thank you to everyone for your well wishes about our beloved father, James J. Smith. While it's very hard to deal with his passing, I'm overwhelmed by the great memories he left us with his life. He led a wild, colorful and amazing one.

On that note, he wrote his second and final novel entitled 'The Promised Land,' about growing up in Harrison NJ and all that entailed. QPHS, football, life, death and everything in between. I helped him type and edit it, and it's incredible. His wishes were that if anyone is interested in reading it, please do!

There will be a link by the end of the week on www.bromleysmithpublishers.com for those interested.

God Bless You All.

Condolence: To Susan, Harry and Jim's children and grandchildren, you are in our prayers. Jim will always live in our hearts. While our paths went in different directions after high school, the many experiences I shared with Jim enriched my life with his wisdom and love of life. Jim and I double dated at the senior prom with our future wives. When we went to Susan's house for pictures, Jim introduced me as Moose. Mr Bromley offered his hand and said "nice to meet you Bruce". For the rest of the night I was Bruce. Little things you never forget. Caroline and Bob Pinard

Condolence: Prayers on the way Jim. We had a brief friendship in High School as I played next to you on the line on QP's Football Team. You were a gentle giant with a great sense of humor. I had some quiet time with you at Boys Night Out at our 50TH.
See you soon.
