Obituary for Frank J. Romano
Frank J. Romano, 74, of Brick, formerly of Secaucus passed away peacefully on Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Aristacare at Manchester Nursing Home. Mr. Romano worked many years as a union draftsman with the Sheet Metal Workers International Association, Local #25 in Carlstadt before retiring 10 years ago.
Born in Jersey City, He grew up in North Bergen and lived in Secaucus before moving to Brick 15 years ago.
Surviving is his daughter, Gina Zeidler and her husband, Robert of Point Pleasant; son, Frank Romano, Jr. of Secaucus and Nicholas Romano of Brick; brothers, William Romano and his wife, Kim of Toms River and George Romano and his wife, Sue of Glenwood; grandchildren, Tyler, Carlie and Emily; and a great granddaughter, Sophia.
All services were handled privately under the direction of O’Brien Funeral Home, Brick. Donations made in his name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
