Obituary for Margaret J. "Margot" Kristofik (Baker)

Margaret J. “ Margot “ ( Baker ) Kristofik It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret “Margot” Baker Kristofik announces her passing after a long illness, on Monday February 12, 2018, at the age of 70 years.
Margot was born in Nampa, Idaho, moving to Central New Jersey before she reached two, remaining on The Jersey Shore for the remainder of her life. She was raised in Spring Lake and attended St. Rose High School, Belmar, Class of 1965. After marrying, she moved to Eatontown where she raised her loving family before moving to Belmar 2 years ago.
Margot worked numerous years in the hotel industry finishing her last ten years of her career with Bally’s Hotel and Casino, Atlantic City, New Jersey, acting as the Beverage Manager before retiring in 2004. Margot will always be remembered as a loving caring person who always put her family first. She will sorely be missed.
She was predeceased by her parents Frederic Baker (1986) and Margaret Clark Baker (1980), and her loving husband Joseph E. Kristofik (2005).
She is survived by her beloved children Joseph M. Kristofik and his wife, of Oakhurst, James Kristofik of Windermere, Fla., Margaret Kristofik of Asbury Park, Michele Rivera and her husband Luis of Tinton Falls, and Marisa Kristofik of Belmar. Margot was blessed with nine grandchildren. Marcella, Luis, Raquel, Seana, Nicolas, Gabriella, Connor, Brianna and Leon. Margot is also survived by many siblings. In keeping with Margot’s wishes, all services will be private at the convenience of her family. She will be laid to rest at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport, New Jersey.
