Condolence From: John And Susan Fiore
Condolence: General Young hired me to be a member of the 170th Air Refueling Group in November of 1978.
Throughout my military career, which spanned 28 years I have never had a commander who was as humble and caring for his people as Gen Young. I have always tried to emulate his style of leadership throughout the years.

Susan and my deepest condolences go out to the Young family. There is a whole generation of NJ Guardsmen who grew up under his tutelage.
He is very much missed.

Condolence: Hi Billy,
I want to extend my sincere condolences for the loss of you father.
I have many fond memories of us spending time at your house. Your mother and father created a great place for us kids to have fun and grow up.
I last saw your father at my father’s funeral. I reminisced with him about the memories of our time together as children; the holiday parties, playing bumper pool, pachinko, sledding down your hill, swimming at the Army camp beach, thanks to his access. I especially remember your father taking us to the Asbury Park amusements on your birthday in the MG. He kept paying the operator to keep us on the Zipper ride. I'm not sure if it was because we were having so much fun or just to keep us busy. ;)

Condolence: My husband, Michael (who just passed away 3 weeks ago) served with Gen. Young in the ANG at McGuire for many years. He, and I as well, looked up to Gen. Young and admired his genuine concern and caring for all that served under him. He and Marge will be fondly remembered. May your family find peace in knowing that his life was a "life well lived."

Condolence From: Brig. Gen. Robert S. Dutko, Sr., USAF Retired
Condolence: Barbara and I are sad to learn of General Young's passing. I had the pleasure of serving with the General in the 170AREFG for 5 years. He served his State and Nation with distinction and was a thoughtful and fair commander. His contributions over many years made the New Jersey Air National Guard a well respected entity. We shall always cherish the wonderful friendship we enjoyed. RIP General. With Deepest Sympathy, Bob & Barbara Dutko.
